TLI Solutions was awarded a Special Recognition Award along with an Environmental Award.

TLI Solutions (formerly a part of TechLaw, now a company under TLI Holdings) was a team member of the team put together by the U.S. Army Environmental Center (USAEC) to facilitate the development of a CERCLA-focused inventory process. The program enables the Army to fully comply with Congressional requirements (namely the FY02 Defense Authorization Act).

Goals were met four years ahead of schedule, and the Final Inventory Report qualified for a PA under CERCLA requirements—enabling the Army to meet its PA Goal in 2003.

Due to the swift completion of the project, millions of dollars were saved and, thus, redirected into other Army environmental programs. In turn, the Army initiated its MMRP Site Inspection program earlier than the other military branches!

The awarding jury commented, "This unusual professional work provides an inventory for remediation of unexploded ordnance at about 3,000 sites around the world. This is far more than an information technology program or a data base—it provides a decision model based on data for a large range of conditions. It defines an organized, efficient process for the decisions involving six USACE districts, and 600 facility points of contact...The results are dramatic."
