CHANTILLY, VA (April 2, 2021) — TechLaw Consultants, Inc., has secured a series of contract awards with the US Environmental Protection Agency and the US Army Corps of Engineers, giving the company access to more than $280 million in environmental consulting and support work over the next five years.

“These awards represent continued confidence in the important environmental support that we’ve been providing to these federal agencies for decades,” says TechLaw Consultants President Brian Shutler.

US EPA awarded TechLaw Consultants’ TechLaw division four Environmental Services Assistance Team (ESAT) contracts in Regions 1, 2, 8 and 10, with new work kicking off this month. The 5-year contracts are worth a combined $41 million, continuing TechLaw’s position as EPA’s largest ESAT laboratory support contractor—both in number of regional contracts and in dollar value. ESAT provides technical, analytical and quality assurance (QA) support, primarily to EPA Superfund programs. TechLaw will provide Analytical Laboratory Support, Data Review, Analytical Logistical Support, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Support and Laboratory Related Activities support to EPA. The US Army Corps of Engineers-Baltimore District last week selected a joint venture led by TechLaw Consultants’ division, TLI Solutions, to participate in the District’s Multiple Award Military Munitions Services-III (MAMMS-III) contract, valued at $240 million over five years. The joint venture of TLI Solutions and Munitions Management Group (MMG) of Knoxville, TN, was selected as a Small Business to compete with a small number of companies to provide Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Munitions Constituents (MC) environmental remediation services and related Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) services at current and formerly used defense sites and other federal facilities throughout the District. The Baltimore District spans six North-Atlantic states and the District of Columbia.

“We have the experience and the specialized skills in place that EPA and the Corps of Engineers regularly expect from us,” says TechLaw Consultants Chief Operating Officer Patricia Derocher. “We’re ready to get to work.”
